<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital camera in which only transfer processing of required image data is performed at the time of taking image data from the digital camera into a PC. <P>SOLUTION: When transfer processing of a specified recording file is designated (S1), a decision is made whether it is designated from a PC or not (S2). When it is designated from a PC (Yes at S2), selection of the specified file is started (S3) according to designated conditions (attached information tag). When it is not designated from a PC (No at S2), selection of the specified file is started (S4) according to conditions set in the digital camera. A comparison is then made whether an attached information tag (file attribute) set in each recording file matches the designated conditions or not (S5). If they match each other (Yes at S5), the relevant recording file is transferred to the PC (S6). Subsequently, a decision is made whether confirmation of remaining files has completed entirely or not (S7) and the control moves to S5 where the remaining recording files are processed if confirmation of remaining files has not completed entirely (No at S7), otherwise (Yes at S7) transfer processing of file is ended. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
