PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the highest storage capacity for a rewritable optical information storage medium by the combination of the land/groove recording system and the CLV (Constant Linear Velocity) system.

SOLUTION: Tracks for recording information of the information storage medium 1 are formed to be in-groove parts 2 and on-groove parts 3, the in- groove parts 2 have a synchronous structure wherein wobbles 2a, 2b on a wall face at both sides of the in-grooves are not deviated in the circulation direction (vertical direction in Figure), and the wobbles on a wall face at both sides of the on-grooves of the on-groove parts 3 have an asynchronous structure. Satisfactory reproduction signals can be obtained from both of the in-groove parts 2 and the on-groove parts 3.
