摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-optical recording medium with an excellent recording magnetic filed sensitivity suitable for a DWDD system capable of reproducing a high density recording signal in excess of an optical diffraction limit. SOLUTION: The magneto-optical recording medium comprises a magnetic layer including: at least a reproduction layer 1001; an interference layer 1004; and a memory layer 1005, the magnetic layer is sequentially stacked through exchange coupling at room temperature, the reproduction layer 1001 comprises a perpendicularly magnetized film with a relatively small magnetic wall coercive force and a relatively large magnetic wall mobility in a recording information detection region in a reproduction beam spot, the interference layer 1004 comprises a magnetic layer with lower Curie temperature than that of the reproduction layer 1001 and the memory layer 1005, and the memory layer 1005 comprises at least first and second magnetic films 1006, 1007 made of amorphous rare-earth group transition metallic magnetic film with different Curie temperature in the magneto-optical recording medium comprising the perpendicularly magnetized film.
