<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a network system for transmitting and receiving musical information in accordance with the relation stipulated between a transmitting side and a receiving side, when transmitting and receiving the musical information via a communication channel. <P>SOLUTION: In this network system, contents of the musical information transmitted from an optional terminal device 1 to another terminal device 1 via a network 2 is discriminated whether the contents are specific information pieces to the receiving side, or general information other than the specific information.
