PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously producing a carboxylic acid ester stably for a long period, securing the safety of the process by performing reaction of an unsaturated aldehyde with an alcohol in the presence of oxygen in a high unsaturated aldehyde conversion rate and a high unsaturated carboxylic acid ester selectivity. SOLUTION: This method for continuously producing the carboxylic acid ester by performing the reaction of the unsaturated aldehyde with the alcohol in the presence of oxygen is characterized by using a material containing iron, nickel, chromium and molybdenum as a part making a contact with liquid, and performing the reaction by maintaining ≤10 ppm total concentration of the iron, nickel, chromium and molybdenum in the reaction liquid.
