PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawstring bag, which requires less trouble to keep the opening edge of a bag squeezed and maintains the squeezed state of the opening edge more firmly and surely, and achieves a high level of sealing performance, especially in the case of a synthetic resin bag. SOLUTION: The drawstring bag comprises the bag 1 having the opening edge 11 in which a string inserting part 13 is formed, a string 2 inserted in the string inserting part 13, and a stopper 3 fitted on a part of the string 2 that comes out from the string inserting part 13 to keep the opening edge 11 of the bag 1 squeezed. The stopper 3 comprises a first member 31 having a hole 34 for putting the string 2 through it and a locking means 35 for locking the string 2, and a second member 32 elastically held against the first member 31 and can be biased with energy in a direction of separating the second member 32 from the first member 31.
