PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent only a specific light emission part among a plurality of light emission parts from deteriorating more by controlling the quantity of a light beam. SOLUTION: When light beams emitted by a light source having (n) light emission parts are brought under light quantity control in sequence, patterns (j) (j=1 to n) for performing light quantity control over a light emission part (j) among the (n) light emission parts first and a light emission part 1 in (j)th order are stored in an APC order setting memory 66 and each time APC is executed by horizontal scanning of each time, a control part 64 performs the light quantity control over the respective light emission parts in the order corresponding to a specified pattern stored in the memory 66 and sequentially switches patterns used each time a horizontal scan with a light beam is made N times (N≥1).
