PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side closure structure for a vehicle providing a better feeling of openess and more conveniences in getting in and out by enlarging the opening area of a doorway opening. SOLUTION: The side closure structure for the vehicle has the doorway opening 2 continuously extending from the side of a vehicle body 1 to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and a roof opening 4 extending from the side of a roof 3 to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and ranging almost all over the upper part of the doorway opening 2. It comprises a front door 5 turnably supported on the vehicle front side of the doorway opening 2, a rear door 9 turnably supported on the vehicle rear side of the doorway opening 2, and a roof door 9 turnably supported on the roof 3. The front door 5 and the rear door 7 cover the doorway opening 2 in a closeable manner and the roof door 9 cover the roof opening 4 in a closeable manner. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
