FLOATING BODY TYPE CONTAINER TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the lift of a container and control the bend of a floating structure. SOLUTION: A container crane 104 is installed on the floating body 101 floating on a water surface 102. A container C is loaded on a container ship 103 by the container crane 104. A part of a container crane installation surface 101c is deeper in the floating structure 101, and the container crane installation surface 101c is higher than a container stocking surface 101b. Since the part of the container crane installation surface 101c is deeper and stronger, bend of the floating structure 101 can be maintained within a designated range even if the container crane is installed. Since the container crane arrangement surface 101c is higher, a leg 104e can be shortened and lift of the container can be shortened. A dolphin fender type mooring device 150 is provided inside of the deeper part of the floating structure 101. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
