The system aims at supplying different users exposing themselves to the sun with a service for control of the erythemal effective UV dose accumulated by each of them starting from a given specific instant, by characterising the photosensitivity of each user before exposure (minimal erythemal dose - MED), carrying out measurement of such doses in real time keeping into account possible changes in the conditions of the environmental UV irradiation and in particular allowing each user to known, at every moment, the dose accumulated by him/her up to that moment and to compare it with a given characteristic critical safety value (threshold) assigned to the user himself/herself. In addition, each user can be personally warned, through a message, about his/her imminent reaching the erythemal-dose threshold, allowing said user to stop sun exposure and at least enabling him/her to avoid the erythemal effects induced by an excessive dose of ultraviolet sun radiation. |
