PURPOSE: A device for generating a radical in a washer is provided to supply air into an ozone generator by using power of a motor rotating a dehydrating tub and to reduce noise by simplifying structure. CONSTITUTION: A radical generating device of a washer comprises a motor(210) generating power to rotate a dehydrating tank(200); a curved shaft(110) expanded from a shaft of the motor; an air pumping device(120) pumping air by rotation of the curved shaft; an ozone generating device(170) generating ozone into the air supplied from the air pumping device; a molecule changing device(172) connected to the dehydrating tank while having catalyst generating radical; a closed diaphragm(122) having a suction port(128) and a drain port(132); a ring having a long groove(124) inserted by the curved shaft through being mounted on an upper portion of the diaphragm; a counter flow preventing plate(130) rotating to open or close the suction port by being mounted on an inner part of the diaphragm; a drain hose(150) connecting the drain port and the ozone generator; and a counter low preventing valve(160) installed on the drain hose.
