PURPOSE: A system and method for making a reservation of a party through the Internet is provided to enable a user to select an attractive business by showing businesses suitable for conditions desired by the user, and by showing a plurality of alternative business in case that the business doesn't suit the user's taste. CONSTITUTION: A member database(60) stores personal information on members including IDs, passwords, date of birth, hobbies, and so on. A homepage unit(70) stores web screens including homepages. An event business database(70) stores information on services of event businesses capable of performing all sorts of events. A package product database(80) stores all sorts package products of events. An event reservation service unit(40) receives conditions for the events from a user and searches businesses suitable for the conditions. The reservation service unit(40) includes a web server(41) which displays information on homepages of businessmen, a condition checking unit(42) which receives conditions for reservation from members, a business searching unit(43) which searches event businesses suitable for the conditions, a proposition transmitting unit(45) which transmits a proposition for conditions and expenses for reservation, a reservation unit(46) which receives an event business finally selected by the user, a publicity unit(47) which publicizes a party and a research examination unit(44) which stores a result of a research after the party.
