<p>A method for producing an oxide superconducting wire, which comprises a step of providing a composite comprising a powder containing an oxide superconducting substance or a raw material for an oxide superconducting substance and a metal covering the powder, and a step of rolling the composite with the use of a lubricating material having a kinetic viscosity of 20 X 10-6mm2/s or less. The method allows the improvement of the accuracy of the dimension of the width and thickness of the above wire and also the production of a superconducting wire exhibiting improved superconducting characteristics.</p> |
