PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organophotoreceptor which does not cause image defects such as black spots and voids and ensures good image quality, an image forming method using the organophotoreceptor, an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: The organophotoreceptor having a photosensitive layer on an electrically conductive support, is characterized in that the photosensitive layer contains charge generating materials and charge transport materials, at least one of the charge transport materials is a mixture of stereoisomers of a bis(arylethenylphenyl)aniline compound and the content of the greatest isomer component in the mixture is 40-90 mass%.
