PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water pump securing the sealing function while securing the metal gasket partitioning function. SOLUTION: A gasket 20 has an intermediate plate 21b with high rigidity and metal gaskets 21a and 21c with the sealing function. The inner edge part 21c of intermediate plate 21b is extended with a prescribed gap in the axial direction between the end surface on a cylinder block (a fixed member) 12 side. The metal gaskets 21a and 21c are disposed between the sealing surface of the intermediate plate 21b and a body 11 and the sealing surface of the intermediate plate and the cylinder block (the fixed member) 12.
