PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a housing place, where a vandalism guard for preventing the damage of a cab is housed, in a slewing type working machine having a small space on a layout. SOLUTION: The cab 17 is loaded on a superstructure 14 rotatably installed on an understructure. The superstructure 14 has a revolving frame 31 with a hollow beam member 41 using the outside end as an opening end and a fender 51 mounted around the frame 31. An opening section 52 is formed to the fender 51 at a place corresponding to the opening end of the beam member 41, a door 53 is secured into the opening section 52 in a freely openable manner, and a guard-member housing space section 65 is formed to the cavity section of the beam member 41 on the inside of the door 53. The foldable vandalism guard 66 protecting a glass window for the cab 17 is housed in the space section 65. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
