PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively control deterioration of appearance caused by damage of a rotor arm without impairing high-class feeling in a rotor for a spinning reel equipped with cover members. SOLUTION: The rotor 3 for a spinning reel is rotatably attached to the reel main body of the spinning reel, winds a fishing line on a spool 4 and is equipped with a cylindrical part 30, a first and a second rotor arms 31 and 32 with the first and the second cover members 46 and 47 and a bail arm 44. The cylindrical part is rotatably attached to one end of the reel body. The first and the second rotor arms are extended from a position facing the radial direction of the end part of the reel body side of the cylindrical part to in the direction separating from the reel body. The second cover member 47 covers the outside of the second arm and has a plurality of through holes 65a, 65b and 65c formed on the external surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
