<p>A method for detecting the installation position of a drive shafting, comprising the steps of temporarily setting the installation heights of the remaining bearings against the reference installation heights of reference bearings for a crank shaft and a propelling shaft, calculating, based on the temporary installation heights, a crank differential in each crank throw and a bearing load on the propelling shaft by using a transfer matrix method, calculating an evaluation value based on a difference between the calculated differential value and calculated bearing load value and an actually measured measurement differential value and a measured bearing load value, comparing the evaluation value with an allowable value, when the evaluation value exceeds the allowable value, newly preparing a binary temporary installation height by using a genetic algorithm and, based on the new temporary installation height, re-calculating the evaluation value, and repeating the same steps until the evaluation value falls into the allowable value.</p> |
