<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment apparatus which can improve water treatment performance by preventing the increase of sludge concentration in a treatment tank and the inflow of oil. <P>SOLUTION: A solid outflow preventing member 13 for preventing the outflow of solids from a first step tank 10 into which wastewater containing the solids and the oil are flowed in to the treatment tank 20, a washing diffusion means 14 for cleaning the member 13 by diffusing air supplied from an air supply means 60 through an air channel changeover means 70 to the member 13, and an aerating diffusion means 21 for aerating treatment water by diffusing the air supplied from the supply means 60 through the changeover means 70 are provided.
