The multilayer web of fabric proposed for the fabrication of flexible containers, tents, tarpaulins, protective clothing, etc., has a woven-fabric layer (5), a rubber layer (6) on one side of the woven- fabric layer (5) and a layer (7) of fluorinated-hydrocar- bon polymer on the other side of the woven-fabric layer (5). In order to obtain a particularly strong yet soft web of fabric, the lay- er (7) of fluorinated-hydrocarbon polymer is between two layers of rubber (6 ).
