<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of receivers to be held and the number of buttons of the receiver in a system for remote control of a door of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver, which has a lock button and an unlock button, repeatedly transmits a request signal sown in a figure, when either the lock button or the unlock button is pushed. The request signal includes an ID code, a button code and a time code. The button code indicates discrimination between the lock/unlock buttons, and the time code indicates whether the button is continuously pushed for a prescribed time or longer, or pushed prescribed times. The receiver performs the lock/unlock control and opening/closing control of the door in accordance with the button code and the time code. A number-of- times code, which indicates the number of times of the operation of the button, can also be used in place of the time code. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
