<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a narrowband frequency error included in a received signal in a segment type OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) standard with no fixed pilot existing. <P>SOLUTION: A signal for one symbol is inputted from an A/D converted OFDM reception signal to a narrowband frequency synchronous circuit 12. A signal extractor 121 extracts a signal of the latter half within a guard interval and a signal of the copy source of the signal from the signal for one symbol. Next, a converter 122 calculates a complex conjugate with respect to the signal of the copy source, and a multiplier 123 individually multiplies the complex conjugate and a signal within a corresponding guard interval. The respective multiplication results are added, an average value is then calculated, and a narrowband frequency error is detected on the basis of the phase of the average value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
