PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soldering iron in which it is unnecessary to dispose of the entire soldering iron tip every time when an iron tip is eroded and consumed, and to replace it by another spare one, so that it is unnecessary to constantly prepare a large number of spare iron tips. SOLUTION: In the soldering iron 1 comprising a heater part 2, a holding part 3 which is connected to the heater part 2 in a heat insulating manner, and an iron tip 4 connected to the heater part 2 in a heat transferrable manner, the iron tip 4 comprises an iron tip body 5 with a joining hole 7 axially opened in the front end, an iron tip end 6 which is attachable/detachable to/from the joining hole 7 and slidably inserted in the axial direction, and fixed to the iron tip body 5 at the predetermined position by a set screw 9, and a solder gap member 10 to be filled in a gap between the joining hole 7 and the iron tip end 6 inserted therein.
