PURPOSE: An information recording medium and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to give orientation to a PZT(Piezoelectric Translator) thin film for increasing the recording density with small grain boundary. CONSTITUTION: An information recording medium includes an MgO substrate(20), electrodes(21) deposited on the MgO substrate with platinum by sputtering, wherein the MgO substrate is heated at a temperature of 650-800°C and the deposition sped is 10A/min-30A/min, and a PZT thin film(22) formed on the electrodes by doping a Sol-gel solution having PZT components on the electrodes and spreading the doped solution by centrifugal force by the rotation at a high speed.
