PURPOSE: A counter-sink rivet is provided to prevent the rivet from being damaged or broken when coupling the rivet to a structure and to improve workability of riveting work by installing upper and lower dies at upper and lower ends of the rivet. CONSTITUTION: A counter-sink rivet includes a cylindrical body(100) and a head section(110) protruded from an upper end of the cylindrical body(100). The head section(110) has a hollow part therein. A groove(120) is formed at a lower end of the cylindrical body(100) to allow the counter-sink rivet to be easily coupled to a structure. A width of the groove(120) becomes reduces as it reaches an inner portion or the cylindrical body(100). When coupling the counter-sink rivet to a horizontal state maintaining plate of an airplane, rivet holes are formed in the horizontal state maintaining plate and the cylindrical body(100) is inserted into the rivet holes. Then, the rivet is fixedly secured by means of upper and lower dies.
