PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, rapidly and appropriately perform adjusting work that the glare of the range-finding means of a camera is made to agree with that of a photographic lens. SOLUTION: In the camera 12 to which the range-finding means 18 is attached so that its glare direction can be adjusted by an adjusting and mounting means, a direction adjusted to make the glare of the range-finding means 18 agree with the glare of a photographic lens device 16 by utilizing an output signal on a mark 76 photographed by the photographic lens device 16 and an output signal on the detection of the mark 76 by the range-finding means 18 is displayed on a display means. By performing operation to adjust the adjusting and mounting means to the direction to be adjusted which is displayed on the display means, the glare of the range-finding means 18 is made to agree with the glare of the photographic lens device 16.
