PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for revitalization without decomposing a degraded insulating layer of an armature. SOLUTION: The armature 1 whose insulating layer is degraded through aging is so submerged in a liquid insulating material under vacuum as to be impregnated with an insulating substance. The liquid insulating substance is solidified while the armature is rotated in a chamber 2 in which a heated air is circulated, thus a new insulating layer is formed. When the liquid insulating substance is solidified while the armature 1 is rotated, a part where the insulating substance is easy to flow out is irradiated with far infrared ray R for faster solidification than other parts.
