MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording medium capable of preventing diffusion of an element which decreases magnetic characteristics from a substrate and showing hard magnetism without increasing transformation temperature of alloy which constitutes nano particles.

SOLUTION: The magnetic recording medium is characterized in that a covering layer is formed on the substrate and a nano particle layer containing the nano particles consisting of a CuAu type or Cu3Au type hard magnetic regular alloy is formed on the covering layer.
