PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the strength of a roll while achieving shortening of the rising time and saving of energy for a thin layer fixing roll. SOLUTION: In the roll provided with strength by forming a rib on the inside surface of the thin layer core metal, the rib is constituted such that its density is increased from the center toward the end parts.
