CEILING TYPE AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A ceiling type air conditioner is provided to improve efficiency and performance of the air conditioner by preventing back-flow of air flow on an outlet. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner a case(10) installed in a ceiling, and having an inlet(11) and an outlet(12) formed on a bottom thereof and connected with a room; a fan(20) installed in the case to be near the outlet, and including a rear guide(22) and a stabilizer(23) forming a channel for discharged air to introduce and discharge indoor air; a heat exchanger(30) installed in the case to be near the inlet so as to cool down the introduced indoor air; and a drain pan(40) installed on a lower end of the heat exchanger to collect condensed air generated during heat exchange. An auxiliary guide(23a) is installed on the stabilizer to stabilize flow of discharged air. The auxiliary guide is a platy member extended down from the stabilizer in vertical direction. The auxiliary guide keeps area of an end of the outlet constant, and prevents rapid diffusion of air flow.
