<p>The invention relates to an in vitro serological method of diagnosing infective endocarditis with negative hemoculture caused by Coxellia burnetii and Bartonella sp bacteria in a patient with a cardiac valve disorder. The inventive method is characterised in that it consists in: dosing IgG-type antibodies of the phase I Coxellia burnetii bacterium and IgG-type antibodies of a Bartonella sp bacterium onto one same serum of a patient, and determining if the titre of said IgG antibodies is greater than or equal to 1/800th.</p> |
