The hose clamp (1) comprises a sprung housing (3) which serves for the guiding of a screw (2) and also for the screw's pretensioning. Without additional external springs the housing multifunctionally is constructed as a linear spring (4) creating shape by means of breaks (7) or slots (7a), and constructed already sprung to the target spring force (8) in dependence upon the spring excursion (9). The housing can be cast with elastomer or vibration-damping material (10) to improved vibration damping in the slotted region to prevent vibration breaks of the clamp.
