<p>A shell assembly for winding cord strip is disclosed. The shell assembly comprises a core body< (100) including corner reinforcing members (1a) and reinforcing fins (1b) each attached to either end of a square pipe made of metal, flanges (2) (2a) each attached to either end of the square pipe by means of welding, and reinforcing discs (3) attached at regular intervals to the outer surface of the square pipe by means of welding; and a cylindrical body (4) made of metal, the cylindrical body including reinforcing rims (4a) formed at regular intervals on the outer circumference of the cylindrical body in the form of ring-shaped groove, and separate bodies having connecting parts (4b) (4c) provided at the middle part of the cylindrical body, the core body and the cylindrical body constituting a shaft member, which is light and durable.</p> |
