<p>This invention relates to a device and a method for simultaneously separating and sealing a tube shaped web or the like of thermoplastic material. The device comprises an elongated heated edge (44) or the like co-operating with a soft dolly (45) such that the thermoplastic material is sealed at each side of the edge at the same time as the plastic material at the tip of the edge is exposed to a strech whereby the plastic material breaks or is weakened such that it can easily be torn off.</p> |
