A radar detector is provided to supply information of an access state to a speed monitor device to a driver by displaying a warning screen according to the access state to the speed monitor device. A radar detector(1) includes a radar wave detection unit(3), a record unit(4), a radar detection control unit(5), and an image output unit(10). The radar wave detection unit receives a radar wave for monitoring speed. The record unit records image data for warning display. The radar detection control unit reads and outputs the image data from the record unit when the radar wave detection unit detects the radar wave. The image output unit outputs the image data outputted from the radar detection control unit to an external monitor device(11).
