PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press unit for a necessary and enough pressure strength and to minimize the stress to a print plate in an in-circuit test or a function test of the print plate with mounted components. SOLUTION: The speed of rotary movement by a speed control motor 53 using AC 100 V power source is reduced by two pairs of sprockets 31, 32, and a soft landing press unit is composed of a crank structure for changing the rotary movement of the sprockets to the linear motion (in up and down direction) of a pressure top plate between a crank link 40 for connecting the rotary axis of the sprocket whose speed is reduced and the lower edge part of the link 16 connected to the upper edge part of the working base.
