摘要 An effective launching method for increasing the bandwidth of a multimode fiber and a LAN using the same are provided to enable long distance data transmission in high speed by improving the deterioration of a data transmission due to the difference of time delay. An optical signal harmonizing with the electric field distribution shape of the basic mode of the multimode optical fiber(20) is income in the core center part of the multimode optical fiber. The number of mode guided in the multimode optical fibers is less than 3 edge. In the core center part of the multimode optical fiber is the core center, it is the range of ±5mum. The wavelength of the light which is income in the multimode optical fiber is 800~1600nm. After guiding the commercial single mode optical fiber coinciding with the electric field distribution of the basic mode of the multimode optical fiber, the optical signal which is income in the core center part of the multimode optical fiber is income in the core center part of the multimode optical fiber at last.
