PURPOSE: A component concentration determination method is provided to determine concentration of complex medium in a short time by using a calibration model having improved estimating capability. CONSTITUTION: A component concentration determination method, comprises a first step(10) of measuring spectra and reference concentration of a specific component in a spectrum selected with respect to a plurality of samples of a medium; a second step(12) of establishing multivariate calibration model by using the spectra and the reference concentration; a third step(14) of estimating concentration of a specific component from spectra of a new sample by using the multivariate calibration model, and calculating a first estimation error between the estimated concentration of the specific component and the reference concentration; and a fourth step(16) of judging whether the first estimation error is the smallest value from among the values smaller than a second estimation error using a full spectrum, and returning to the first step if the first estimation error is not the smallest.
