<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking fee settlement system for allowing a driver to automatically settle a parking fee without any cash or trouble in a pay parking lot. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with an ETC receiver 3 mounted on a parking space P and a host computer 5 connected to the ETC receiver 3, and the host computer 5 records a credit card number read from an ETC on- vehicle equipment mounted on a vehicle entering the parking space P by the ETC receiver 3 together with the entering time of the vehicle, and when the vehicle leaves, records the leaving time of the vehicle, and calculates a parking time from the leaving time and the entering time, and calculates a parking fee from the parking time, and charges a credit company based on the credit card number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
