<p>The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for supplying, under aseptic conditions, additives to a tank (1). On the tank (1), there is a connection cone (2) which is terminated by a part (4) preferably a female part of a coupling. The additives are enclosed in an aseptic container (5) on which is secured a connection (6). The connection (6) has at least one liquid-tight pinch or clamp (9) and the connection (6) is terminated by a corresponding part (7) preferably a male part, of a coupling. The open end of the corresponding part (7) is covered by a protective foil (8). When the additives are to be supplied to the tank (1), the protective foil (8) is removed and both of the coupling parts (4, 7) are brought together. Thereafter, the tank (1) is sterilised together with the coupling and the connection (6) up to the pinch or clamp (9). After completed sterilisation, the pinch or clamp (9) is removed and those additives which were enclosed in the aseptic container (5) may be supplied to the tank (1).</p> |
