The invention relates to a distractible vertebral column implant comprising a first outer bushing, a second outer bushing coaxially arranged thereto, and an inner drive element that is screwed to at least one of the outer bushings. T he inner drive element has a first thread, e.g. an external thread, whereby the outer bushing screwed to the drive element has a second thread, e.g. an internal thread, that fits with the external thread. The inner drive element rests against the supporting ring, and the drive element can be driven in th e area of its face oriented toward the supporting ring.
