<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To previously secure a traveling route of an emergency vehicle by allowing a general vehicle to exactly recognize a scheduled traveling route of the emergency vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The emergency vehicle 1 transmits encoded emergency vehicle information including guidance route information (information indicating the scheduled traveling route) from the current position to a destination, the current position information and the current time information from a cellular telephone base station 5 to an information service center 3. On the side of the general vehicle 4 that receives the encoded emergency vehicle information from the information service center 3 through the portable telephone base station 5, whether or not there is possibility that the present vehicle encounters the emergency vehicle 1 on the scheduled traveling route of the emergency vehicle 1 is judged in comparison of the current position of the present vehicle with the guidance route information, the current position information and the current time information among the received encoded emergency vehicle information and when the possibility of encounter is judged, a warning operation noticing that the emergency vehicle is approaching is performed to a driver of the general vehicle 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
