<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental examination recording method dispensing with the manual entry of a name or an ID number of a patient through a keyboard when recording the taken image data of teeth in a recording device of a computer, or searching the image data of teeth of the patient to be read from the recording device of the computer. <P>SOLUTION: This method comprises the computer 10 provided with a digital camera 2, a frame memory 4, a compression and extension chip 5 and a hard disk device 7; a monitor 11; a medical chart 9 in which ID information 9a for identifying person to be examined is described; a reader having an imaging part 1 for imaging the ID information 9a and a recognition part 2 for converting it to text data; and a CPU 8 for outputting the output information of the reader and the output information of the compression and extension chip 5 as one piece of file formation to the hard disk device 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
