PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home page allowing various users to specify various retrieval conditions to thereby obtain sightseeing information most suitable for the user. SOLUTION: At the information providing source, a database server 1 stores sightseeing facility information, facility-to-facility time distance, neighboring shop information, event information for every season, still-picture of map on the spot, and animation introducing the neighboring roads, landscape and shops, whereby when the user specifies 'starting spot', 'destination place', 'age', 'the number of persons', 'price range', 'time required for sightseeing', or 'gourmet information is necessary or not' as a retrieval condition, the database server 1 interlocking with the Internet server 2 is retrieved according to the user's retrieval condition at the information providing source, to display sightseeing information meeting the retrieval condition.
