<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide recording liquid for inkjet in which a dye and a red pig ment are used and which is excellent in dispersibility and has good printability and storage stability, and a method for manufacturing it. <P>SOLUTION: The recording liquid for inkjet comprising the red pigment, the dye and a surfactant in an aqueous medium, is characterized by (1) the red pigment and the dye comprising at least a part wherein the dye is reversibly adsorbed on the red pigment without being accompanied with chemical reaction, (2) the dye reversibly adsorbed on the red pigment without being accompanied with chemical reaction comprising the dye of an amount of dye adsorption of at least 0.02 g/g, wherein the amount of dye adsorption is expressed by equation (I): (amount of dye adsorption (g/g))=(ratio of dye adsorption in dispersion)×(total amount of dye in dispersion (0.4 g))/(amount of pigment in dispersion (4.1 g)), and (3) a nonionic surfactant and an anionic surfactant coexisting as the surfactant, and the method for manufacturing the recording liquid for inkjet is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
