PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy plate for a lithographic printing form of which the uniformity of a rough plane due to electrolytic etching is improved so as to prevent a stripe pattern from appearing; and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This aluminum alloy plate is composed of 0.1-0.6 wt.% Fe, 0.01-0.2 wt.% Si, 0.001-0.01 wt.% Cu, 0.01-0.08 wt.% Zn, 0.002-0.03 wt.% Ti, and the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities and contains a plurality of intermetallic compound particles in the metallic structure. The content (D) of the intermetallic compound particles with particle sizes of 0.1μm or higher but lower than 1.0μm and the content (E) of the particles with particle sizes of 1.0μm or higher satisfy the relation represented by (D/E)×100≥0.20.
