PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable speed pump control system wherein inexpensiveness of a standard specification model is made compatible with easy adjustment to specific specifications. SOLUTION: The variable speed pump control system comprises: a variable speed control part 40 for operating a motor at variable speed; a first control part 30a with a standard function of automatic operation control on a feedwater pump based on the detection at least of a discharge flow rate and pressure of the pump; a second control part 50 with a special function; a variable speed control part 40 for operating the pump at variable speed; and a communication line for connecting the first control part 30a, the variable speed control parts 40 and the second control part 50.
