PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure accurate valve performance of a control valve without increasing manufacturing accuracies of a valve rotor and a valve sleeve in a power steering device. SOLUTION: This power steering device comprises a control valve 20 for controlling the supply and discharge of hydraulic oil to and from a power cylinder for assisting a steering force by the relative rotations of the valve rotor 21a and the valve sleeve 22a in a housing (a housing body 51, a housing cap 52) according to a steer torque. The power steering device also comprises a variable mechanism 30 (balls 31 as rolling elements, and a retainer 32 holding the balls rollingly and movably a specified amount in circumferential direction) capable of increasing the relative rotational speed of the valve rotor 21a and the valve sleeve 22a within a set range.
