PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label adapted to make an article subjected to an illicit action identifiable at a glance in appearance, to make the label peelable without leaving residual materials on the article side and to make possible the identification of the label replaced from the initial normal label. SOLUTION: The label 1 has a tacky adhesive layer for pasting to the article on the rear surface side of a flexible synthetic resin sheet body and is formed by disposing a symbol display 3 for collation intrinsic to the label on the front surface of a label body 2 having a function to detect the peeling that the peeling displays, such as characters, showing the proof of the label stripped from the article appear.
