PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine intake filter unit preventing the circulation resistance of intake air through a tertiary filter from increasing in excess even if the number of filter layers is increased from two to three, while optimizing balance between the trapping efficiency of the filter layers and the circulation resistance of the intake air. SOLUTION: A weather louver 10, a primary filter layer 11, a secondary filter layer 12, and a tertiary filter layer 13 are arranged in order from the upstream side within a filter unit 1 installed at the upstream end of an intake duct 2 leading to a gas turbine 3. An end face filter layer part 13a serving as a component of the tertiary filter layer 13 and disposed perpendicularly to intake air A' in the intake duct 2 is formed with at least one recess 13e which dents toward the downstream side of the intake air A'.
